The introductory message?

"Do you know what prime numbers are?
Because if you don't you should just leave now."

When you first heard/read this line what were your initial impressions?

For me this gave the impression that this film was aimed at those people who aren't so smart but would love to believe they are. Thank god the rest of the film didn't carry on in this wannabe overly academic way. Through out there were occasional math references (apart from the obvious ones) that were nice to pick up on but I wasn't getting slammed by a math lesson which was nice.

another good aspect about the mathematical/problem solving side was that the enigmas or problems that the group faced were intertwined with trying to solve the real mystery and the other plot lines and it wasnt broken up into blocks of problem solving and blocks of story which worked really well imo.
