Of course not. He's arrow proof, getting driven through a building proof, bomb proof. The notion that a gun shot would have any effect on him after all that was absurd. I'm assuming she actually blew her brains out in front of him.

The character has her own series soon. So, she did not kill herself.

Of course not! Good villains never die, not as long as there's money to be made by bringing them back!

And it's so easy with comic-book villains, just pull superpowers out of your ass.

No. The old trope "if you did not see the body, then he's not dead". It seems they are following the comics, where she shot him, and he was blind in both eyes, but through some miracle surgery he got to see again.
