Stark arrows

Hawkeye gets everyone making his arrows for him. I want to see a rocket made arrow.

I think he used to have a technical team (probably from Stark industries) making arrows for him, but not anymore. Now he can make some of the trick arrows himself, but not fancy ones, not anymore.

reply

Is Stark's death the primary reason why there are no more trick arrows or something?

reply

That, and the end of shield I'm sure.

reply

oh yeah lmao that's right. Forgot about Shield.

reply

I'm guessing there are still arrows out there in shield storage, but he can't get his hands on them.

You'd think that Pepper is still running things, and would be perfectly capable of having someone make trick arrows for Hawkeye. All she has to do is tell someone to assign a couple of engineers and give them a budget.

I wonder if Pepper and Clint had a falling out, or if he just doesn't want to ask?

reply

That's why I had to ask, cause I was like, that was kind of a leap, but he seemed pretty morose when responding. And frankly, I assumed he'd been using trick arrows long before he hooked up with Shield.

reply

But I would imagine the trick arrows he used before SHIELD were home made basic ones, poison, grenade, hooks, etc.

reply

Fair distinction. USB arrow for instance was probably SHIELD tech.

reply

Also the giant Pym arrow was probably a SHIELD connection.

The "play doh" and "sorry Santa" arrow are definitely fancy tech.

"acid" & "purple gas" arrows are also unlikely to be home made.

reply

Most of the tips aren't homemade other than them being assembled at home. I think he still has a decent amount of leftovers after the wars stored in case he needed them. Heck, he even starts taking out Stark Industry tips during the final preview of the last episode. Since SHIELD is gone, it's most like Stark Industries still providing for Clint if he needed more trick arrows.
