Why didn't Mare question the prostitutes a year earlier searching for clues of Kate's disappearance.
Why was she not further reprimanded by police chief for continuing to involve herself in the case.
Why was Dylan and his buddy chasing Erin's best friend and pointing gun to her head stating they are all in this together forever??
Why did they burn the journals. Dylan didn't murder Erin.
What happened to the 2nd girl that was abducted?
Small town, no one new the kidnapper?
Why didn't Mr carol tell Mare about the gun immediately. Could have saved me 4 hours of TV.
What kind and caring teenager reads a dad's text and immediately thinks of getting a gun to scare Erin and why was a 2nd shot fired at her head after her finger was blown off and he clearly won the gun away from her
Always have to question priests to make them look like pedophiles.

I think she didn't realize the prostitution angle until the third case. It hadn't been known about the first one.
Because she was successful. When you achieve a mighty task, people tend to look the other way regarding how you achieved it.
He probably wanted to hide the kid's true parentage.
Ditto.
She was rescued.
It may have been in a neighboring town. Seemed like it was.
He didn't think it mattered at the time. He's an old man, not so sharp anymore.
He was an odd kid, apparently. They exist.
Mystery shows need to spread red herrings to keep the viewers guessing.
The show is about more than a murder mystery. It's the story of a whole community.
Just enriches the sense of reality.
She thought the incident was harmless and wanted to prevent it becoming an ongoing revenge feud.
The excerpts were a good way of telling us what had happened with Mare's family in the past as well as giving Siobhan a more three-dimensional character.

Not exactly. He did not see the pattern of odd things… like the gun disappearing and returning… until after his wife died.
