(spoilers) This is what happens when...

... your boyfriend/ husband doesn't do due diligence and force you to cut off ties with your gaggle of toxic girlfriends.

If you're a weak-willed woman (I know I am), you're going to need masculine support in your corner. My husband keeps a close eye on my whereabouts at all times of the day. If he knows I have poor judgement and succumb to peer pressure easily he will prevent me from hanging out with that type of crowd - or, he would accompany me wherever I went.

Amber was NOT a good influence. She was so blase about the whole rape incident that she got Renesha into... She said nothing about feeling bad that she had pressured Renasha into drinking excessively and taking drugs. This really ticked me off. After all that went down with Renesha and her rapist, she had no words of remorse or commiseration. She was too busy smacking gum with that big mouth of hers.

I'm not saying Renasha was perfect. She wasn't. But the least you can do as a female is surround yourself with helpful and strong people who will support you in times of crisis.

Well, that's my two-cents regarding this movie...

We gotta make smarter choices, ladies.
