Somehow I really dig the monochrome and the aspect ratio in this movie. I hated those in The Artists.

I didn't mind the 4:3 in Zack Snyder's Justice Leauge, but not the black and white.

I thought it looked awesome. The shot composition was brilliant and I still love the look of B&W in cinema. I've seen a lot of Macbeth adaptations and this is probably my favourite for the look of the film.
