Thoughts about this series

It's too bad that they charged so quickly into her book writing phase. It was right that they do it eventually, but it seemed like there were a lot more interesting stories they could have told before completely changing the series.

Then when they ended it, they never brought out the concept that she was only doing all of this to make money so that she could have a different career, that it was just a stepping stone, not an end in itself. I think that could have been interesting, realistic and poignant.

I guess when they did the last season they knew that this was the case and there was kind of a tendency to phone it in. These episodes don't usually have the same kind of energy and interest as those of the preceding seasons.
