had just 20mins before the nuke went off but still thought she had time to go save her friend but how did she plan on getting out with her in this short time seeing as she locked the door for the rest to get to the chopper?

I don't think she knew the government moved up the timeline, though.
It would depend on when exactly they saw those news, and I don't recall if she was still with the group.
