Uncensored Episode 345 on US DVD (SPOILERS)

Anyone remember the intense scene where Obito gives the Hidden Mist squad leader one deadly smackdown for trying to touch Rin's corpse? Well, it appears the scene as portrayed online and non-NTSC DVD is actually censored! The scenes edited short & paced in slow-motion (with his scream echoing); probably a TV edit shown for sanitized broadcasts. On the newly released US NTSC DVD, the fatal smackdown lacks the echo (but keeps the scream) but the content is lengthier and bloodier. We see blood flying, his fist soaked in blood, the victim's hand jerking. His continued punching the corpse is also lengthened, plus a new scene showing the constant assault has temporarily sunk his fist into the victim's head, which is soon pulled out.
I dunno what to make of this. On one hand, showing it uncut is really cool, but I also liked the less-is-more intensity of the TV edit (plus the echo). Well, this means I have a reason to keep my French PAL DVD of the episode (even if it lacks english subtitles).
