A 7.8. isn't low but seeing how Spidey TAS is 8.3 and X-Men TAS is 8.6, I'd say TSSM is currently underrated here.

I'd say fans of The Amazing Spider-Man movie are the more likely culprits. They voted down Raimi's movies, too.
