It's a well made film though, regardless of what the viewer thinks of their relationship.

I agree, it is a good one. I've never been a fan of Ruth Gordon so that's why it bothered me. I'm not sure what it is about her because she was wonderful in Rosemary's Baby, My Bodyguard and this Harold and Maude. Something about her just bugs me 🤔
