Sex and Death.

To understand the make up of Movie Symbolism you must study it.

All movies are full of symbolism. everything in theatre and movies means something truly different to reality.

Food = death for example. Woman in mens clothing, prison guard = man. sleeping with a teenage man = sodomy.

She appeared to look uncomfortable when reading the Menu for their lunch.

Therefore she was affected by death for obvious reasons. (we didnt know she was illiterate at this time)

The director was anally retentive, he made them pause constantly throughout the movie for "effects" but to me it was just anal retention. Movie have to move, they need energy, flow reason, purpose. There was little need for "slow moments" this plus the constant nakedness made it seem even more anal, possibly an obsession with the latter.

Nakedness plus death = obsession with the Colon?

was the director dealing with his latent sexual fears? Is he sick? I think so.
