Even with the fix I still can't really tell besides a more sharper superimposed face on top of the original. I guess I could see a slight distortion where his mouth seems more 'puffed' out like as if someone punched him there a few times similar to a black eye.
Yup, if no one had pointed it out, I wouldn't have even noticed.

I'm not sure what distracted me more... his awful CGI'd mouth, his receding hairline or his awful teeth.
In the comics Superman's look is famous for the lock that hangs down giving him that 'virile' look.
With his hair slicked back, you can see that Cavill's hairline is quite high, and he is developing a slight widow's peak. I've never noticed it in interviews where he can somewhat disguise it by combing his hair forward.
afa the teeth, I think he's since had them fixed but tbh I haven't seen him in anything else but the MI movie.
The effect could have been better.
