still beat Logan, Transformers, Kong, and Apes

Well, yay! I guess...

It beat two fantastic films that weren’t your average franchise sequels (Logan and Apes), one fine “reboot” blockbuster (Skull Island), and one terrible popcorn flick that rightfully underperformed. Yet, not including Transformers, somehow these movies made more of a profit than JL did (Logan in particular earned way more than its 97 million production budget — not to mention it was rated R).

Yep, and it also cost significantly more and probably didn't profit nearly as much as any of those movies, if at all..

well if you count in budget and marketing and don't just look blindly at gross box office....DC is STILL underperforming. So, you know...their rationalizations don't work no matter how you slice them.
