Gotta admit it works though, just need some deafeners for when the movie is playing and a sleeping mask and you are complete!

Hmm, here's an idea. This sounds like a great chance for you to randomly pick some fans of this movie and spend 5+ years constantly demanding they justify their appreciation for it.
All you gotta do is brush off any response as a non-answer, tell them the movie is terrible for the Nth time and that their taste is terrible, and then ask them again and again and again what's so great about the movie.
See then, after that, all you gotta do is keep telling them that they're refusing to share what makes the movie so "amazing" and accusing them of creating some secret little "Justice League club."
Yeah I know it sounds like petty, childish behavior, but trust me, it's worth spending inordinate amounts of time on, and dedicating years of effort to this little game. It'll turn you into an internet legend, I swear!!!
It may sound like a lot of work, but it's a pretty easy and basic tactic, even a simple-minded dullard can do it ;)
That actually sounds kind of fun, but I wouldn't feel right about doing that until I've seen it. I won't be seeing it until it's on basic cable (barring a free HBO weekend or something to see it earlier.) By then though, I think the window of opportunity will have passed on this fabulous idea.
