So, let me get this straight: This is the DCCU's version of "The Avengers" and...
...not ONLY can it not even crack a billion, not ONLY did it have the LOWEST opening weekend of the ENTIRE DCCU, not ONLY is it not really trending anywhere on the internet...the film is somehow even more forgettable than BVS.
BVS made movie history for ALL the wrong reasons...Justice League is apparently too lame to even be made fun of.
I see a LOT of apologist posts dedicated to defending this movie and I have to wonder: are these people just deluding themselves? In an era where comic book event movies typically make a billion in their sleep, anything less than a billion + for JUSTICE LEAGUE is just downright PATHETIC.
JUSTICE LEAGUE, people...this was supposed to be a history-making movie much like The Avengers. This is BAD any way you spin it.
I'm not a DC hater (despite how many zealots try to tell me otherwise)--I love MCU and DCCU equally and I'd love to see good movies for both.
For those of you defending this film--why? Why defending a subpar depiction of a brand that you know is capable of delivering better? Your continued defense of this DCCU only ensures the continued disrespect toward the DC brand. You should want better. You should DEMAND better.
This is the 90's or even early 2000's anymore. This "Justice League not making $1 Billion isn't a bad thing" excuse isn't going to fly in today's climate. There is no excuse for Justice League NOT netting at LEAST $1 Billion unless it's a flawed product.
The truth hurts but it's time to accept it.
