Do you recommend it for a good laugh or is it just boring?
Really hard to say.
It's not a good movie, it's uneven and isn't consistent with how the plot gets moved along. When the inevitable comparison to a Marvel movie is required I'd say perhaps Thor 2 or Iron Man 2 would be the ones to aim for. Kids will no doubt like it but the murderous Superman and ultra violent Batman depicted in prior movies in this franchise should make parents think twice before letting them get into the whole set of stories.
That said, there's a husk of a movie there. Maybe when the hour that was edited out is put back in it might look like a better film. That's a gamble though and I'm not sure with WB/DC's recent decisions that it will pay off.
I've seen it twice and it's a popcorn movie should you have some time to kill. I'd recommend the full IMAX 3D experience if you want to go for it or waiting until you can view it at home if you aren't a full on DC fan.

It sounds mediocre. Not bad enough to be entertaining. Not good enough to watch in the theater. Maybe I'll borrow the DVD from the library when they get it.
