I appeal to all of you who believe in a Higher Power in one form or another: join us this Sunday at Noon Eastern Standard Time for an international pray-in to rid our multiplexes of the scourge of superhero movies. We will pray ardently for the box office failure of Justice League, Thor Ragnarok, and any other upcoming superhero releases.

shareI believe in God. I believe in prayer and its power. And this seems like a complete waste of that power. There are far more important things to deal with than movies you don't like.
It is because we believe in the value of the arts to ennoble people that we seek the death of these glorified children's movies.
shareAgain, not a reason to abuse prayer. You don't like this kind of film. That's fine. Its your opinion and that opinion is as good as someone who likes them. But you don't get to decided what other people like or that filmmakers shouldn't make films those folks like.
In any art, there will be those who like one type or genre and those who don't. That doesn't imply that those who don't should have their opinions catered to, or that they should pray for the destruction of the style they don't like.
As a man of faith, I have issues with people misusing prayer to cater to trivial desires.
I will answer your prayers, just sign the contract. I don't work Sundays.
