So I shall leave behind childish things like the mcu and watch these movies. They will be more up my street.

You must be really delusional if you think, the MCU is more mature than the DCEU. The only DC movies who are really mature are:

Dark Knight Trilogy
Watchmen
V for Vendetta thats all
