An unbiased message to Uwe Boll
Dear Mr. Boll,
I have been watching all your films from House of the Dead onwards (coz it's a little hard to get my hands on your previous work) and I must say that each one sucked biggtime (In my opinion). But I couldn't help noticing that each film keeps getting slightly better than the other. I see improvement, slow but sure. I have nothing against you, Mr. Boll, as I understand the difficulty posed in filmmaking. However, with all due respect, it would be advisable to approach fans of the games for suggestions as they form the majority of your viewers. You have to admit that the plot of your game adaptations are very distant to that of the game. You seem to the use the "prequel" concept to flesh out the characters more, but that seem alienate the movie from the concept of the game. Another issue, if you will forgive my criticism, is the fight scenes in each of your films. They look very awkward because of the weird camera angles and the choreography. They just dont look legitimate. In comparison with Low Budget Martial Arts movies, the fights in American Ninja, Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren movies look much better.
Well, all that being said, I wish the very best in you future endeavors. And please do not hold anything against me. This is just one man's opinion......shared by a majority.
Regards,
Kurt
