The low rating is stupid
4.6? Seriously. If this film was not directed by Boll it would be liked. I saw this when it was released on dvd and liked it a lot.
Oh well haters gonna hate.

I don't even know who Boll is! and I still hate this movie, I've studied Viet Nam, and this movie is a disgrace to any veteran of that war, everything is wrong!
The Cu Chi tunnel war is an excellent subject, and I'm disgusted to see it wasted here!
I agree! I didn't know this film existed until last night. I caught the last 40 minutes of it. I try not to knit-pick about historical accuracy, etc., but at least a little attention to detail would be nice. I mean, can anybody tell me what division patch was on their uniform? I can't identify it. And I don't mean the thin strip of material that looks like someone wrote "Army" on it.
I stuck it out til the end, saw the credits, and, well, no wonder. ~"Directed" by~ UWE BOLL.
You were born a pig farmer.
You'll always BE a pig farmer.
And now, you will DIE a pig farmer.
In real life Cu Chi was in III corps, and the province was defended by the 25th Inf, with the "electric strawberry" or "tropic lightning" patch.. in this film it looks like they copied that "lightning flash" from the 25th, and put it in the shield of the 1st Inf "the big red one" for some reason Boll probably couldn't get permission to use actual insignia, which is funny cause every other war film has?!
Once you have a title like 1968 tunnel rats, you owe it to the veterans to portray their history correctly, or else call it 1976 underground foriegn fighters..
Ya know, it did look like a combo of the 1st & the 25th. But not by much. DAMN this movie was bad! For a special unit, they looked like unorganized grab-asstic pieces of amphibian s#it.

I gave the movie a "1" as soon as I saw weapons from the 1980's.
[Never trust anyone that posts on only one IMDB board.]
Would have given it a zero if that were possible. Had to go with a one.
shareSeriously? Hence you should rate about 99.7 % of all films with 1/10.

This isn't a documentary... gawd. It's just a film!
If it was a doc then I can understand all the complaints about errors, like the camp in the jungle, the weapons, etc. etc. Just take it as a made up movie of a moment in time and it isn't as bad as what the haters are saying.
