Wasn't there going to be a sequel?
What happened to it?
shareThis movie underperformed at the box office when it was released in various countries during 2010, and only got a limited release in the all-important American market in late 2012. Quite simply, it failed to make enough money to justify a sequel.

Add to the fact that since his Silent Hill: Revelation movie was terrible to the point that it failed at the box office other than making its budget back.
I loved Solomon Kane, I would've loved to see the trilogy, hopefully they'll happen somewhere in the indie scene, even if it won't be as remarkable as before, it's just good to see it continue.

Ha, Silent hill in name only. If they had of stuck to the satanic cult story of the original game in the first movie, the sequel would have fell in line better instead of being a monster tour. Poor valtiel, reduced to being a piece of furniture. If there was going to be a fight with pyramid head, it should have been with valtiel. (Although saying that, pyramid head shouldn't have been in either).
Solomon kane deserves a sequel that betters the original, so I guess that'll never be without it being from a remake down the line.
