More ~50 Million Dollar Movies Please

I absolutely loved Soloman Kane. I really think they should be making more movies of this scope but with more modest budgets. It seems like most movies these days are either small, indyish, fare or huge, big budget, blockbusters. I would like to see more movies like this, Stronghold, The Eagle, The Black Death and Outlander. Ambitious movies with smaller budgets, but obviously dedicated crews. Attention all production companies! More please!

I agree, but the problem with these types of movies is that seem to run out of steam/budget toward the end.

This reminds me a lot of Hong Kong action movies. They must be filmed in chronological sequence, since the first 90% of the movies tend to be great, but then the last 15 minutes is wrapped up in a jarring/amateur fashion.
