Yeah and it totally surprised me how good it was! I wasn't expecting good acting or original story lines but I have to admit this movie was pretty original.

Watching it on there right now. Pretty good flick so far. Great acting. Cinematography is great. Cool story. Glad I saw it on Netflix and took a chance!

Yeah, I just watched it off Netflix. Went into it completely blind; the weather has been keeping me in the past few days and I've been bored. I didn't think it looked promising, so it exceeded my expectations quite a bit. I still kinda felt like it was slow in parts. Or maybe not slow. I dunno. It felt longer than it actually was, heh. It was kinda depressing at times too, heh... But lots of cool action sequences, atmosphere, effects, and monsters. Solomon Kane was an interesting character. I enjoyed the twist that happened towards the end too. Gave it 4 out of 5, although maybe that's a bit generous.

I rented it from Redbox tonight.

Just watched. I didn't find it low budget at all. The sets and scenery were beautiful and the acting was top notch. We really enjoyed it, all in all. No comparison to Van Helsing, except similar cloak and hat. Rachel is beautiful to watch, too. Even the CGI was good. Enjoy!
