Klaatu´s prepesentin civilization insane and arrogant!

Klaatus civilization had a moment in time, that they also were in the same position like the humans were. Killing their own planet.

Something happened and they had to change. They were lucky, because there wasn't an insane alien race coming to murder them because they did not meet some insane standards of some "planet living code."

"This is not your planet. You are not living the insane code we have made up. So we will kill your entire race. We will not help you change. We will not guide you in any way. We will not even invade you. We will just kill you all!" What! Arrogant ja totally INSANE! How many races this group of civilization have wipe out before....?

First this "ambassador" lands to earth with appears to be an astroid.... disables earth's defense... (he could call a head) People of earth... It is not an asteroid... You are not going to die...
After making everyboy on earth thinking they are going to die...
He makes a statement... Your planet?... it is not your planet... can i go now?:)

Just because he did not get a change to talk to the UN personally.... does not justive murdering the human race. Use telephone. Broadcast from the sky, write a good dam universal letter for the UN.

The humans did not live by the "universal planet living code" and were in the the process of killing the planet earth. Are the aliens sure... do they have all the answers. What if they are not all knowing... what if they were wrong...
The "Group of civilization" are insane...

The movie was ok... in some way, but the character of that kid. AAAARGh I was so annoyed by him. He totally ruined 80% of the movie for me.

What would you do? And then he wanted to front the U.N? lol Mars Attacks showed the sheer folly of bending over like that.

I don't know how to break this to you....Mars Attacks was totally fiction. It never really happened!
TDTESS would have been completely boring if both sides met at the UN and diplomatically negotiated what was best for both sides. That would be without drama, suspense, tension, conflict, etc.
In a hundred years, life on earth will be far worse due to Climate Change and nuclear weapons. But the Earth will repair itself and go on for billions of years.

We are talking about Earths initial response. Had Klaatu sent a message from Earth that he was going to arrive then Earth may have had time to draw up a calm political response or show us to be stupid and erratic. But this was like a Chinese Military Chopper with loaded guns landing on the White House lawn 100% unannounced and demanding to see Obama! What would America's response be to that?

Bate's thought process was totally logical and expected. Just cause the Alien talks calmly and 'spock' logically, does not automatically make him friendly and benign.

You have to think of this like a very abusive parents who are violently abusing the children. Intervention is needed and the alien are like the police and child protection service all roll into one.
