That touchscreen they use in the film...
the one where they drag those photos/folders is pretty cool

Yes, they are cool because they are Hollywood inventions. They don't exist in real life.

Thanks for that long and well intelligently displayed explanation on my error. I am sure you did really well in all of your subjects in Middle school...

Yet another empty post.
You would think after the first, you would provide an example of a government agency that uses such touchscreen.
By all means please educate us, or stay quiet.

Wow. You really wanted to go that route.
Well, fine by me, child. I have removed the tarnish from my soul by being nice, and if you choose to continue like a petulant, unlettered, spoiled brat who makes definite statements about an industry he clearly know nothing about, that's on your head, not mine.
I don't need to sully myself debating with you. There is no point because there is clearly only one of us in this "conversation" who actually knows what he's talking about, and it isn't you.
Too bad. I thought you were really asking for info. I should have realized how empty, childish, and churlish you were.
Well, as I say, my soul is untarnished now from this exchange. Good luck cleaning yours up.
So, back to the original statement you made - it was a stupid, unsubstantiated statement made out of ignorance and... wait for it... wrong!

YEah they do. They are called Microsoft surface tables. An office I worked in made a lot of software for them...they have been around since 2007.

They were developed for use in restaurants and retail and things like that.
Well, haven't seen this one yet so maybe I'm saying something stupid but I did saw the original and there they didn't even need touchscreen, they just used movement to control everything
