Can't keep defending Keanu

I love so many Keanu movies like Devils Advocate, Replacements, Matrix, Point Break & speed. Last good one he made was street kings. But I can't defend this one, he was wooden, I know he was supposed to be. Why choose this god dam script.

I mean even I had a momentary lapse and agreed to it. The minute Will Smith pulled some strings and got his horrible little kid in there, I'd have ran a mile...

47 ronin looks awful as well as the man of tai-chi.

How can you make such fine cinema, then make this pile of turd...

He's great in this. One of my favorite movies, with one of my favorite actors. Love the hell out of this movie.

Keanu will never win a Best Actor Oscar and because of that this movie was perfect for him. He did not have to deliver an Oscar chopping performance to earn his money.

I agree with you that it's a terrible script that everyone would've been better off avoiding, but I thought his performance was the only saving grace of the film.
