Klaatu is a hypocrite when he happily munch on that TUNA SANDWICH
Seriously, when he is talking about how human destroy this planet, he himself is part of the problem by eating that tuna sandwich at the train station.

shareI didn't know eating few Tuna destroyed the planet instead of pollution and stuff.
shareby DBLurker - Thu Feb 26 2015 01:37 -Yes. The huge amount of harvesting in today's ocean is destroying the aquatic biome. In turn, about 3/4 (75%) of the South American rainforests have already been destroyed. They are the source of most of our atmosphere's oxygen (they're sometimes referred to as the world's "lungs").
... eating few Tuna destroyed the planet ...
I am talking about Klaatu eating one sandwich.
Countries like Turkey, China and Japan over-fishing illegally leading to extinction of fishes isn't the same thing as one guy eating a sandwich.
by DBLurker - Mon Mar 2 2015 01:39 -That's a statement very reminiscent of narrow mindedness.

See, there is a good reason why nobody gives a flying *beep* about these issues, especially when it's the westerners whining about them.
You people have destroyed environment, used resources like coal to power your economies and now sit around preaching the world to not use resources best reserved for your rich elites.
There is a good reason why people tell hippies to go *beep* themselves.
Also, there are other fishes in the sea. Nobody cares if Tuna goes extinct like Dodo. Maybe they can eat more Whale meat then. :))
by DBLurker - Mon Mar 2 2015 14:12 -So instead of arguing the point, you capitulate - then whine to me that this is somehow my fault you can't figure your own way out of the box? Interestingly weak way to respond. I guess it's time to admit when you're stuck.
... Nobody cares if Tuna goes extinct ...
You do realize that the problem isn't necessarily the use of such resources. It's the scale in which it is used.
During America's industrial revolution, there were approximately 75 million people in the US. The repercussions of such actions were almost completely unknown. Before that, the world's resources were thought to be pretty much infinite.
They learned their lesson (for the most part) and have been working pretty hard to clean up the damage from it.
The preaching comes from telling countries who are trying to do the exact same things, but with populations of over a billion. Think about how hard THAT mess is going to be to clean up, if it ever can, and if it doesn't completely deplete massive amounts of resources first that can never be restored.
That's also a pretty ridiculous assumption that nobody cares if tuna goes extinct.
That's a statement very reminiscent of narrow mindedness.Eating a tuna sandwich is the moral equivalent of lynching a Black person? Is this really what you are trying to say?
There were once narrow minded people who might excuse lynching in much the same way; "it's only one "n" person. There are hundreds of them." I guess if you can think that way, it makes it ok. Tuna aren't people after all.
I thought he didn't know what he was eating and he got sick from it
