Baruchel's comedic timing was awful. The mugger was funnier.

When the mugger said, "Ooooooh! You seeing this?!" coupled with his genuinely funny expression and delivery, I laughed. Everytime Baruchel tried to "act" as an awkward geek who says the weirdest-sounding "oooh" and "aaah" during action sequences ever, and feels the need to make some type of vocal reaction to ANYTHING that happens, I cringed. The guy was WAAAY too loud. So many unnecessary side remarks.

During the "climax," when he was driving Balthazar's car, there's a scene where he's held up behind a cab, and this old lady pops up with a walker. I'm sure it wasn't the actor's fault, because that was clearly something from the script, but what was exactly the point of that scene? To annoy us even more? "What, what, what, what, what, what, what, what is this? What am I looking at? Noooooooo........ Ugh. .............aaaand a walker, of course she has a wa--." SERIOUSLY?! The actor's annoying delivery made it come out even worse. I wanted to sit on his face, all sweaty and tish, so he'd no longer dare to talk (I've never wanted to do this to anyone before, no matter if I do find their voice "annoying." But this guy takes the cake).

Just look at his attempt at "comedy" during that earlier scene where he returns Becky's stolen things, he was shown walking towards Becky as the policemen ran past him. For some reason, he was doing this "waddling" thing, while hiding Becky's things behind him. Why the heck was the waddling even necessary? I get it, I get it...he's supposed to be "awkward." But, seriously?! That was his attempt at acting awkward?

Edit: Also, what's up with his constant duck-face? I thought that only happened in pictures? He should get an award, or something.
