I might be missing something here but when Balthazar, Dave and Veronica battles Morgana at the climax of the film Morgana apparantly kills Balthazar with an energy blast to the chest,but she did exactly the same to Veronica seconds before but she wasn't killed??

Any explaination?

Balthazar had already been weakened by his fight with Horvath and the bull, and then he sustained more internal damage when he took Morgana's soul from Veronica. He probably would have survived the energy blast if it had been the first hit he took that night.

Oh aye I forgot he took the soul, thanks now it makes sense :P
