Great stuff

I haven't read King's story. For that matter, I stopped reading Stephen King 20 years ago when I got tired of his bloated way of seeing litterature. Sorry to bring you the news: after Salem, that was it. A nice study in marketing as King got, in his time, the richest contract of all time for his next 10 novels or so. Anybody thinks the powers in place would have accepted the failure that came afterwards?

But I disgress: this film is great stuff. It is easy to see why when one considers every single performance from every single actor in this movie.

Beesly did a great job.

The story is original and the actors are great.

It never lost my attention.

What else can you ask?

I agree 100% although I did read King up until The Dark Tower Series and didn't make through it ... to this day. He lost me at The Waste Lands when he started morphing the characters in and out of time lines of his previous books. That did it for me ... I haven't read one of his books since.

This story on the other hand was King at his best. It's a truly great and original story, and IMHO they did a great job with the movie. It never lost my interest, and all the actors gave solid performances. I gave it a 7/10.

And if i remember correctly in the original story there were no cell phones .... So all the ... Why didn't Dolan call 911 questions are there for answered ... Hollywood F...ed it up of course :)
