why no sequel?

Easily the best Sandler film in the past decade

I was just thinking the same thing. Easily my favorite and one of his best.

I agree that it is one of his best. I enjoy Sandler for the silliness and childish humor that is his trademark.

In Zohan, he and his writers graduate to Pink Panther and Airplane status - high marks for satirical humor. The comedic writing in this movie requires you be somewhat well read to thoroughly enjoy all the references. I love that he took this satire on. The neighborhood Palestinians coming to consensus with the Israelis - saying they don't have to hate each other "here" and then peacefully and heatedly debating the hotness of first ladies - so, so funny!

This film is brilliant and VERY(!) under-rated.

As an Israeli,it's that much more enjoyable..

I would love to see a sequel, too. I hope he considers making one!

More than a sequel, this should be a Superhero franchise.

We want more of Zohan (and Phantom, and Dalia, and Salim, and Michael's Mom, and the Goat).

As much as I loved this movie I don't think it needs a sequel. The main plots of the movie was that Zohan wanted to be a hairdresser instead of killing people. He achieved this as well as found a wife. They show that at least on a small scale that the two groups that are supposed to hate each other can get along.

IMO if they just made sequels of having Zohan beating up bad guys it would end up being like the Die Hard movies.
