much better than 'house of nine'

don't even bother with that one. i'm always looking for decent horror/thriller/trapped movies on netflix and while Nine dead wasn't amazing, it's def not the worst out there. Actually fairly entertaining.

I thought Nine Dead had better suspense and characters, but an absolutely horrible and pointless ending. It literally ruins the whole movie which is a shame because it was pretty intelligent throughout (though with some bad acting here and there).

House of Nine had a good premise, but towards the end had a little 'hurry up' feel to it (characters being disposed of left and right). It was pretty good overall, but lost the suspense halfway through. However, I will say, House of Nine had one of the BEST ENDINGS I have seen in a long time. The ending still makes me smile...it totally makes up for an otherwise mediocre movie.

It's kind of a toss-up...but House of Nine wins in my book for the excellent twist ending. I would love to see the sequel to it based on that ending.

As much as i didnt like house of 9, this was worse.

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for enough good men to do nothing.

Well, I think its silly to judge a movie based on the ending alone. The movie itself is what counts. Look at "Cube".

With that, I agree with the OP. This was a bit better than House of 9.

Dennis Hopper should have played the priest in this movie instead, and that other wannabe in House of 9.

house of 9 is terrible compared to this, sry. the characters are much more likeable in 9 dead too and more believable to me.

House of 9 is not a good movie to begin with so saying that nine dead is better (which it's not) is not exactly a huge achievement.

Bottom line is their both *beep* movies and neither should be recommended to anyone.

House of 9 is 100x better than this pile of s***

They were both awful, atrocious, badly written, badly acted, badly directed, badly edited movies with very few redeeming qualities.

If I had to say one was better I would say that Nine Dead is better. At least it didn't make me unintentionally laugh as much. But really, it's like comparing cancer to AIDS. It's just a technicality which is "better".
