shareActually, I didn't. I'm not a lesbian, but I'm pretty sure actual lesbian sex involves actually taking your clothes off. I have no idea why people find this lesbian scene "hot", especially compared to something like "Mullholland Drive" or "Blue is the Warmest Color".
Natalie Portman is otherwise very good in this and perhaps deserving of her Oscar win, but I wish she'd stop taking roles that require nudity if she refuses to do nudity. It's like playing a Brit, but refusing to do a British accent. The lesbian scene here was so gratuitous, it's lame execution ironically doesn't hurt an otherwise superb film, but her failure to strip when playing a STRIPPER in that piece of crap "Closer" was like pouring salt on my wounds after I stupidly paid to see it in a theater.
As for Mila Kunis, yeah, she's very pretty, but she's not a great actress and NOT doing nudity in a lesbian sex scene doesn't make her one.

Mila Kunis was blazing hot, Natalie a bit less so, and it could have used more nudity, but it was still a hot scene.
BTW, it was also a pretty good movie.
Where are you getting all this information from? Where was it established that Nina was a lesbian? Neither was Lily. You don't always have to get completely naked to have girl/girl sex, and the scene wasn't supposed to be "titillating", it was supposed to be disturbing.
(Blue is the Warmest Color? Those scenes were awful and laughable. You wanna talk about gratuitous, start there.)
It was okay, but the least titillating scene in the movie actually. The scene with Natalie touching herself and the scene with Natalie and Vincent Cassel were much hotter.

I like it and, yeah, it was made more with the purpose of plot development than being an erotic scene. It's beautiful though.
Check out Mila and Zoe Saldana's scenes in After Sex. Very interesting. I like Mila, she is a fine actress and so hot.
