Other than getting the big thing wrong, the last ep wasn't that bad.
Sure they blew it with Bran getting the throne, just didn't make sense for the character, but I thought the rest of the characters got fitting endings.

shareIt makes perfect sense if you've paid enough attention to the story.

Interesting theory, but I don't believe a god dies. Instead, I believe the Lord of Light wanted Bran as king and worked to have that happen. Maybe that god is even working through Bran.
The many-faced men worshiped the God of Death. Arya became an expect assassin and was able to kill the Night King with the help of the Lord of Light and the God of Death. Perhaps Night King was an abomination since he was created out of a spell.
The episode itself was a mess. Yes, there was some nice imagery as Danerys gave her final speech, but her final confrontation with Jon was nothing but five minutes of polite conversation, followed by Drogon and Grey Worm behaving completely illogically and out of character, respectively.
Followed by a council of Lords coming to a ridiculous conclusion in a few minutes, a cheap joke at the small council meeting, Jon wandering off without a word, and nobody caring what's become of the gigantic firebreathing human-eating dragon.
