Jesus, Podrick’s singing scene before the battle like Pippin’s in “The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers” ... anyone remember when this show had some originality and wasn’t just a big glob of fantasy tropes and cliches?

You mean Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. :-) Yes had a lot of LOTRs vibe in this episode. Also next episode will be like 'The Battle of Helms Deep' from The Two Towers.
I heard it took the team 51 hours to film the Battle of Winterfell and that there will be battle scenes, which we have not seen before. Really looking forward to it.
