shareJorah just came in possession of Heartsbane, which could be Lightbringer. Could say he was reborn (as the prophecy goes) as Sam brought him back from virtual death. Maybe he plunges Heartsbane into Danys heart to create Lightbringer.

And we've already seen two guys proclaimed Azor Ahai reborn by someone who doesn't know shit, and a couple of flaming swords. My guess is that AA Reborn is either Jon, or Berek Dondarrion.
If it's Berek, which is certainly possible, I think they should have built his character up a bit more over the seasons.

Yeah I read something about Jamie and some mistranslation referring to his golden hand. I wouldn't mind Jamie. Brienne would be good too. Maybe that's why she was just knighted.
shareI hope it isn't Brienne. She is already too much of a Mary Sue character. Also, Nissa Nissa was Azor Ahai's wife. He loved her. I don't think Brienne loves anyone. Now, we have known for several seasons that Jorah loves Dany.
Brienne loves Jamie, do you remember her face when he sent her off on a quest with her new blue armor and Valerian-steel sword? She was about to burst with sheer overwhelming emotion, but her steely self-control kept her acting all noble and chivalric, because she doesn't believe that he could ever love her.
And hopefully, the rational part of her brain was also telling her not to chase a man who's been fucking his sister for the last 30 years. That's where that kind of self-control comes in handy.
That emotion was gratitude and joy because she was being recognized for what she saw herself as - a knight. This last episode was the culmination of that journey for her. As such, her goal was to be Jaime's professional equal, not his romantic partner.
shareI respectfully disagree, I think she feels all that, and romantic love as well. It was ALL over her face in that scene, as was her struggle to stifle it for all the common-sense reasons in the world. Remember her crush on Renly, whom she adored and served because he'd been kind to her? And how she knew damn well her love was going to be forever unrequited, and she was okay with that?
Because if she's ever going to let her feelings go, it wouldn't be with a man who's feen fucking his sister for the last thirty years, and still was at that time.
It's not Beric. Beric will sacrifice himself for someone who will die in the battle. My bet is either Jon or Jaime.

Jon is a red herring I reckon/hope. He's already had so many titles already. Lord Commander, King of the North, and now possibly King of Westeros if Danerys doesn't survive. It's enough. Someone else should be the prince that was promised.
I forgot about that scene where they said it could be a woman as well. "Princess that was promised" I'm just worried they'll do something stupid and have it be Arya to please the idiot fans. That will piss me off.

Perhaps Danaerys was never destined for the iron throne, but for killing the Night King. It would work with that vision she saw in season 2. I would not mind that at all. share
Azor Ahai Reborn and The Prince Who Was Promised are not necessarily the same person. Personally I think Dany is TPWWP and Jon is the #1 candidate for Azor Ahai reborn, although I'd be happy with it being someone else just so I could see the look on Melisandre's face when she realizes she's been wrong about that twice.
I quoted the Azor Ahai prophecy above. There is no single PWWP prophecy, but vague references through the books and scripts, apparently cobbled together by Rhegar Targaryan who'd searched the family's historical documents. There isn't much, the wiki entry just says "According to the prophecy, this figure would be born "amidst salt and smoke"[4] and pull a sword named Lightbringer from flames, which they would use to combat an impending darkness." Danerys is the one who was born amidst "salt and smoke" on the small volcanic island of Dragonstone, and neither Jon's birth nor rebirth had any association with salt, although I'm sure there was smoke around. There's always smoke in Westeros.
But if Dany is TPWWP, she'd better take sword lessons from Brienne, because I don't think she's ever touched a sword through any of her campaigns of conquest and TPWWP needs to produce one that's on fire.
