Then again, when they do show him, he will probably be killed. They gave Summer the most pointless death ever. Rickon's wolf butchered off screen.

I'm confused though, why is he so small? In comparison, Nymeria was bloody massive when we saw her last season.
I imagine it's due to budget constraints? As he appears to be a real wolf/dog, whereas Nymeria was obviously CGI.
He did look smaller than I expected. Although I was glad to see him again, I was expecting a more significant reintroduction given how long it’s been since we’ve seen him.
