Agreed. My guess is they'll still get to prepare, but it'll be more in the form of supervised time with the scripts to go over them and memorize what they can, on-set only, and the filming with earpieces as a precaution.
On one hand, I feel a bit offended on the behalf of the actors.
On the other, I get it, because people suck and someone out of the cast would be bound to think "I'll sell this, make an extra buck, they'll never trace it to me, and it's not like they can fire me from a show that's ending." Even though it would blackball them in the industry. Then again, some of their careers will peak with this show. Just sad they might be that way, like, at least you made it to the end of the run, so you were treated well in that regard.
