There's noway they're getting out of The War For the Dawn without HEAVY casualties. And Cersei won't give a SHIT about what Jon or Danny accomplishes... or don't. Now they said they was going for a bitter sweet ending with the show. I suspect who ever is the last monarch standing they're going to be the King/Queen of just ashes. Like Jamie said whoever wins they'll still have to deal with them.

shareIf Dany drops the invasion to go defend all of humanity, and Cersei clearly shows that she doesn't give a rat's ass about humanity, Dany is going to become a popular heroine and Cersei will lose the few supporters she has left. it's comparatively easy to remove a queen with no supporters, poison her food or plan an assassin in the garderobe, and the quagmire is resolved and no questions are asked.
And I think Jon is going to end up on the Iron Throne at the end, not that he wants the job.
