It was alright, but I didn't like the lack of a Tyrell army, it makes no sense. They have the second largest army in Westeros, before Dany's arrival anyways. A simple shot of seeing the Tyrell host defending against the Lannister invasion would have been fine enough, but instead they show nothing.

Thanks! That makes much more sense now, somehow Tarly's defection had gone right over me, I now remember Jaime talking to him.
shareThey've done battles this way in the past, usually when it was obvious what the outcome would be. I read somewhere that the same location was used for both Casterly Rock and Highgarden, the interiors were in different parts of the castle. If that's the case, it has an open field on one side and the sea on the other, so they may not have had time to fully stage both battles using the same field.
shareI think episode 3 was the best so far too. Daeny and Jon! Finally meeting! The scene in the throne room when they finally meet was so funny and good. I loved when Davos gave Jon such a modest introduction. Tyrion's facial expressions were hilarious. I can't figure out why in the show everyone refers to Jon as "Jon Snow" even when they're addressing him. Why do they always use his surname? I liked that Daeny did this too when they were chatting outside on the cliff. "You better get to work Jon Snow.". It seems she's already his familiar.
