I have an account with www.themoviedb.org and it is pretty good. We just need more people to sign up and start posting.

Those comments about TMDb were made on IMDb prior to the shut down date. This site was only a day or two old at the time (or maybe not even up and running yet).

You should check out thegotboard.com

It doesn't have quite the selection that themoviedb does, but it has the best interface out of any of the new sites. And you can petition to have new boards made.

I liked how this one has boards for every movie, tv show and actor/actress. MovieDB doesn't seem as active yet.
