Totally missed the fact that she was sexually abused
I couldn't figure out why her character was acting the way she was, and it made a lot more sense when I read a synopsis later that said she had been sexually abused by her father. That would have helped the movie a lot for me.
Where were the clues to this in the movie? Other than the exchange with her father at the end, which showed she had some issues with him, and the "I'll call all your clients" threat. That got a reaction out of him, unlike her threat to call the cops, which would make sense, because having the people who employed his services start wondering if he's a child molester would be more of a concern for him than the police. So I got the idea that maybe he had mistreated her, but certainly not sexual abuse.
