What's the attraction? A cute guy obsessed with a ugly and cranky girl? Doesn't make sense. In real life, he'd have a girl already and she'd live with 7 cats.

It's odd, isn't it? How we sometimes don't run to pleasure and flee from pain.

I believe it is because of love.

Sometimes you see someone in pain and you care.

I thought she was very sexy but a bit of a loner nut...still...quite attractive!
And he was pretty much struggling with prior addictions and sleeping in a car and a bit of a slacker-loser...
He was simply bewitched by her beauty and put up with her shit for a while...imho anyway
