I think that isn't exactly, what most would expect from a part 2. Cruise was great as Les Grossman, but Tropic Thunder has to have the magic, insane trio: Stiller, Black, Downey jr. Preferrably with this silly-to-the-core promos they did.

I doubt Ben Stiller is in it, imdb.com says Jack Black and Steve Coogan are,though, like in this one.
DVD, not theatrical.
Ben Stiller would NEVER EVER go NEAR a non-theatrical, and certainly not a DVD one.
UPDATE: Actually, I went back and it was just a short at that particular time,as the movie,2008, on the DVD, behind the scenes, a mockumentary (though by ALL standards the movie itself and the short should BOTH be called SH[L]OCKUMENTARIES ]
Amanda Bynes is hot and Lindsay Lohan is not.

That was part of the publicity for Tropic Thunder and is as an extra on the DVD of TT. It's a mockumentary about the production of the movie they're doing within the movie. Robert Downey Jr is in it a lot, and chewing up the scenery as usual. His Kirk Lazarus has a severe problem with his role, as he in character so far in it that he is shell-shocked himself and totally acting up, also with the widow and sons of the real Lincoln Osiris. Those scenes alone are worth it. Check it out on Youtube, you should find it there.
