Is that really her skating on the pond?

I don't think so...I'm sure it was a pro skate. If it was Melissa they would have shown her face...not just fast blurry side shots.

yah i agree, when she was skating they mostly zoom at mario's face. but i think she did the lutzes herself.

It was totally not her. They did a blurry shot of the skater's face as she spun around, and it was nooooot Melissa.

Why settle with words what you can settle with a flamethrower?

Yeah, when they keep the camera at a distance like that, it's quite obvious it's a double doing the part.

Melissa Joan Hart has two doubles listed in the credits. Lori MacKay as her stunt double and Sara Horcoff as her skating double.

There were several physical pratfalls Melissa’s character, Trudy, had to take and even if Melissa could figure skate, that is not an activity one would wish to assign to a pregnant woman.
