Trudie's Parents

Did anyone have an issues about Trudie's parents? They were so unsupportive of her, whether it may be about career choices, personal life; etc. They say so many negative things about her whenever they get a chance to, it's as if they don't even believe in her or if they even love her. When my dad was still alive, I never had to doubt his love for me, he always showed how much believed in me. Maybe I was just really lucky.

What do ya'll think?

I think Trudie's parents had an idea of what was best for her but they didn't know what made her happy....

I think they are a lot of parents like this. They push their likes and wants on their kids. I had a friend in high school who had a dad who said he’d only pay for college if his son studied business. My friend wanted to work behind the scenes in tv and movies.
