I was so looking forward to this movie. Too bad Shamalama was on a bender (pun intended) during the entire production. He had to be. How does one director so epically fail on every level of movie making? Terrible script. Terrible casting. Character names mispronounced (Purposely according to him. Good choice dummy). Changing the rules of bending for some reason. He claimed that he wanted to honor the source material. That's about the only thing he didn't do. SMH

I rewatched it again last night and if you don't compare it to the source material its really not all that bad, flawed yes, and a darker take on the cartoon which is why I wouldn't say its for kids and more for the adult audience. But almost all the characters have an arc except maybe Katara. I will say if you are a fan of the show it will no doubt leave you solely disappointed.
