Another perfect "I told you so" movie!

I slept on "Taken" until today. I love Liam Neeson. I loved this movie. I actually like "reach my (good) goal at all costs" movies. And I especially enjoy one where the protagonist has the right to scream "I told you so!" in everyone's face. Though based on the hell his wife, daughter, and wife's husband suffered over the course of the movie, all Liam's character had to do was give them a knowing look as a reminder. I can't wait to watch "Taken 2."

Oh for god's sake. I went to live in France when I was 19 and worked alongside 17 and 18 year old girls from other countries. This is a great movie but a lot of it is fiction. The sex trade is supplied with girls from underprivileged countries and believe it or not many of them know before hand exactly what they'll be expected to do for a visa. These guys are cruel but not dumb. Kidnapping rich American girls brings too much heat.

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time Del Boy, it's them that started me drinking!

I didn't say that everything in the movie was accurate or should serve as a cautionary tale. I said I like movies in which the protagonist can say "I told you so!" after the thing which they warned would happen actually happened.
