The Performances
In my opinion Kidman should have won. Never really been a fan of hers, but she was excellent. Also, Dianne Weist and Aaron Eckhartt were every bit as good. In fact, I think Eckhartt was completely over looked.
I absolutely love this movie. I have seen it probably 10 times. It's depressing, but it's also hopeful. There are so many powerful scenes. The scene where Eckhartt flips out that she erased all the videos on his phone is one of the most emotional scenes ever. It will stick with me always. I also love the scene between Kidman and Dianne where they are in the basement talking about if it ever goes away.
How could anyone dislike this movie? It's perfect. Not a false note in the film.
